22 Days later

So here I am. I have no real new news to update you with, as shooting hasn't really started, and we still only have one script, but here's some info, you know, because it makes it look like we're doing stuff. Right now my mom's digital camera is in her room where she is sleeping, so I don't have any real pictures for you, BUT since a post is boring without something to look at, I'll be posting pictures that I feel match what the preceeding paragraph had to say.

The opening theme to the series has been completed. It is a fantastic song called Heaviest 8000, and it was written for the show by r-17 and Thomas Petersen. I am very pleased with it. Don't want to spoil the suprise for anyone, so I won't post it (yet), but those who were lucky enough to hear it said it was "good".

Every robot suit is done. That's right. The core 10 robo-charachters's costumes have been completeted. The final two made were Zerobot (main good bot) and Sinstarr (main bad bot) and without a doubt they are my two most favorite robot suits yet.

Lastly I bought a new camera today off the internets. As much as I love my old camera, and as good as it has been to me, EM8K is going to require something much more classy, and with less greenspots on the footage. I purchased a Sony DCR-HC90, and when it gets to my house, filming will begin. Officially.

So that's pretty much it. The next time you hear from me will either be when Epsiode 2's script is done, or when we start shooting Episode 1. Either way, actual progress is just around the corner.

Just lettin' you know we're still here.

Episode one script is done! rhymezone.com rules!

You heard right! Read right. Jer and I were hard at work tonight. We plugged out an entire episode in one sitting! Oh yeah, this thing comes in episodes. That has to mean quality!

We actually LOLed as we wrote it!

Such hard work can be taxing, so Jer and I had to resist the siren's call of The Ring Two Unrated Shiny Box Edition DVD. (We actually like the movie)

Jer: But I wanted to watch The Star Wars Holiday Special!

Andreas:

NOPE! We didn't watch either, which meant more writing, which meant more laughing!

Sooner or later, we finished the script!

Jer read the full first draft and he actually ROFLMAOed!!!

Thomas: Hey guys! What's with all the laughin'? Are you guys watching Too Late with Adam Carolla?

Comin' at ya with the power of 10,000,000 candles!

Here it comes, just a few more pics (authentic, non-staged ones for real this time) of the work being done on those there robot suits.

I spent some time in between my classes and work to build the two most menacing robots yet!

Watching me cut and tape cardbaord is informative, and fun!

But now let me get to why I asked you to come over. Jer, aka "Secretary" from Sortie, and the artist of our DVD cover has made a sweet wall paper for EM8K.
Let's bring it out!

I'm putting this wall paper up so early because I know how much you guys like to sport wall papers from low budget movies from people you don't even know (unless I know you) and then in like, a couple months when it actually comes out you can be all like "See! It was real!" and then your friend will be all like "What?" Just click on the picture and secondary click and do that stuff. I'm sure you know.

So that's the series as of now. Next step is to take all the notes and plot outlines I write up during my US Govt. class and flesh them out into scripts.

It's hard to tell how good this movie is going to be with such vague info, but we asked our friend Meena Tills what he thought of all the stuff you have yet to see, and this is what he said:
